Using the Venlis Store

Coverage of these terms

These terms cover every visit to the Venlis online store, every customer account, and every purchase of Venlis apparel, accessories and related goods made through the site, as well as any contact with our support team about those purchases.

Who this agreement is between

This agreement is between Research Network Technology Ltd, operating as Venlis ("Venlis", "we", "us") and you, the person using the site or placing an order. If you buy as a consumer, these terms never reduce the mandatory rights you have under consumer law.

Eligibility to shop

You must be 18 or older, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian, and be legally able to enter a binding contract. Submitting an order confirms you meet these conditions.

Clothing and Product Details

Details on our product pages

Every product page lists the item's design, cut, fabric composition, sizes, colours and care instructions to help you choose with confidence.

Product imagery and appearance

Photos, model shots and descriptions are for reference only. Screen settings can change how colours look, and fit differs between body types. Use the size guide on each product page before ordering. Slight variations in colour, fabric texture or print placement are normal and are not defects.

Stock and selection

All items are subject to stock. Products, colours and sizes may be changed or discontinued at any time. If something you ordered sells out, we'll contact you to offer an alternative, ship the rest of your order, or refund the missing item.

Prices, Delivery and Payments

  • Total price: Prices are shown in the checkout currency and include applicable taxes where stated. Any duties or import taxes not included are shown before payment or may be collected on delivery depending on your country.
  • Shipping charges: Shipping costs, and when they apply (including any free-shipping threshold), follow our Shipping Policy and are displayed at checkout before you confirm.
  • Accepted payment methods: Any method shown at checkout.
  • When we charge you: Payment is taken when you submit your order, unless you choose a pay-later or instalment option offered at checkout.
  • Billing rules: If a payment fails, is declined or is reversed, we may hold or cancel the order. We may correct obvious pricing errors and will contact you before continuing if a price was clearly wrong.

Placing and Confirming Your Order

Checkout steps

Pick your item, choose size and colour, add it to your cart, head to checkout, enter your details, review the total and submit.

Order acceptance and contract formation

Your submitted order is an offer to buy. We'll email you to acknowledge receipt, but the contract only becomes binding when we send a confirmation that your order has been accepted.

Declined or cancelled orders

We may refuse or cancel all or part of an order if an item is out of stock, a price or description contains an obvious error, payment isn't authorised, we suspect fraud, the quantity suggests commercial resale, or we can't deliver to your address. Any payment taken for a cancelled order is refunded in full.

Product Quality and Customer Complaints

Reporting a problem

Contact Venlis support at support@venlis.co with your order number, a description of the problem and clear photos. We aim to respond within 24 to 48 business hours.

Faulty items and consumer rights

Every Venlis item should match its description, be of satisfactory quality, and be fit for normal wear. If it isn't, you're entitled to the remedies under applicable consumer law, in addition to our guarantee below.

Defects covered by our guarantee

Manufacturing defects reported within 7 days of delivery, including:

  • seams that split or unravel
  • zips, buttons, snaps or drawcords that are broken on arrival
  • printing errors or misaligned graphics
  • fabric faults not caused by use

Exclusions from the guarantee

Normal wear and tear, pilling, fading from regular washing, shrinkage or damage from ignoring the care label, accidental damage, misuse, or alterations after delivery.

Resolving a confirmed fault

  1. We review your details and photos.
  2. If a fault is confirmed, we repair the item where practical or replace it in the same size and colour.
  3. If repair or replacement isn't possible or doesn't fix the issue, we refund the item to your original payment method.

Statutory Cancellation Rights

Cancellation period

If you're a consumer with a statutory right to cancel, you can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.

Notifying us of withdrawal

Let us know clearly within those 14 days that you want to cancel, quoting your order number, then return the items within 14 days of telling us.

Handling and returning items

You can try items on as you would in a store. They must come back unworn, unwashed, free from marks or odours, and with original tags attached. If an item has been handled beyond what's needed to check size and fit, we may reduce the refund.

When refunds are issued

We refund the amount due within 14 days of receiving the items back or receiving proof of return, whichever is sooner.

Customer Information and Site Conduct

  • Accurate information: Keep your name, contact details, delivery address and payment information correct and up to date. We aren't responsible for issues caused by incorrect details.
  • Lawful use: Use the site legally. Don't try to breach its security, disrupt how it works, upload malicious code, scrape content with automated tools, or interfere with other shoppers.
  • No abuse or fraud: Using someone else's payment details, making false claims, returning worn or different items, or abusing returns and guarantees is prohibited. We may suspend accounts and refuse orders where we suspect this.

Our Content, Designs and Branding

Content ownership

Permission to reuse content

You may view and save content for personal, non-commercial use. Reproducing, republishing, selling, adapting or using any of it commercially, including copying our designs or branding, requires our prior written permission. Using the site doesn't give you any licence to use Venlis trade marks.

Liability and Events Beyond Our Control

Limits on liability

We don't exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or where the law doesn't allow it. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for the goods concerned.

Indirect and consequential losses

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, business, opportunities, data or savings.

Disruption outside our reasonable control

We're not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, extreme weather, fire, flood, pandemics, war, civil unrest, terrorism, strikes, network failures, carrier or supplier failures, or government action. We'll let you know if your order is affected. If the event lasts more than 30 days, either party may cancel, and we'll refund anything paid for goods not delivered.

Applicable Law and Resolving Disputes

Law governing these terms

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States. If you're a consumer living elsewhere, you keep any mandatory protections under your local law.

Steps for resolving a dispute

  1. Negotiation: Contact Venlis support first so we can try to resolve the matter directly.
  2. Alternative dispute resolution: If we can't agree within 30 days, either party may propose mediation or another form of ADR before going to court.

Personal Information and Privacy

We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and your rights. It forms part of these terms.

Updates and Customer Notices

Revisions to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to our products, operations or the law. The version in effect when you place your order applies to that order.

Notification of changes

Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. For significant changes, we'll also notify customers by email or with a notice on our website.
